LOW PIM

The term PIM (Passive Intermodulation Distortion) means two or more signals interfere with each other causing unwanted frequencies which cause parasitic signals resulting in this phenomenon. The effects include low call quality and data transmission error in wide band and high speed mobile communication network systems.

PIM issues occur within passive components such as Antennas, RF connectors, Cables, Power dividers, Directional Couplers, Filters, Duplexers, etc.. Analyzing the IMD characteristics of passive components is extremely important. Gamma Nu is focused upon providing PIM FREE ANTENNAS thus enabling a COVERAGE / CAPACITY / COST optimized air interface technology; as well as to continually improve the quality and production efficiency to satisfy the end user.

Simultaneous PIM Test

The PIM value of every GAMMA NU product is measured across the entire band simultaneously to prevent PIM problems that occur during wireless broadband operations. Measurement data is recorded in decibels and saved to a QR Code.
